Retired Seymour Police Detective Todd Romagna passed away after a lengthy battle with an illness. Detective Romagna started with the Seymour Police Department as a Supernumerary Officer in 1995, then a Full Time Officer in 1998 and promoted to Detective in 2013. While in patrol, Detective Romagna served as the department’s K9 Officer, Community Police Officer and was on the department’s ESU unit. Throughout his career he also received numerous commendations. Prior to Detective Romagna’s employment with the Seymour Police Department, Detective Romagna worked for the State of Connecticut’s Department of Corrections. He retired in 2017.
