where he would serve 21 years as a military police officer. Marc was a kennel master and K-9 handler. After his retirement in 1999, he worked for the U.S. Marshal Services at the federal courthouse in Savannah before joining the Hinesville Police Department in 2001. During his time of employment with the Hinesville Police Department he also worked as an officer, was promoted to the rank of corporal and was a K-9 handler. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Mi Suk Matthews, daughter, Ashley Matthews, son William Matthews and his faithful K-9 partner, Brad.
