Cst. Louis Beglaw

Cst. Beglaw joined the West Vancouver Police Department in 2003 after a military career that culminated with service as the deputy commanding officer of the Royal Westminster Regiment of the Canadian Army Reserve. Before that he worked with Canada Border Service. Cst. Beglaw was a very dedicated officer who went through very extensive training to became a police service dog handler in 2007.

The Connecticut Police Work Dog Association Inc. does not represent any specific law enforcement agency, nor do we advocate any specific method of training. We have the expertise to assist any law enforcement agency in establishing a canine unit, canine policy, and canine unit procedures. We can provide assistance in handler and canine selection, and can assist your agency locate a credible training program.
