In July Officer Brad Taylor was being treated for pneumonia when his doctors  scheduled a CT scan. The results showed a large mass in one of his lungs, roughly the size of a softball. They immediately biopsied the growth, with results coming back as Melanoma. Additional testing discovered the cancer has also spread into his bones. At the end of August he started immunotherapy to combat the cancer, and has been in and out of the hospital for the past few weeks. With his illness progressing, he was currently incubated under close watch in the ICU. Brad joined the U.S. National Guard where he worked in communications and served in Morocco with his unit. Officer Taylor leaves behind a wife Marisa Hyland Taylor and daughters Frankie 2 years old and Georgia 2 months old and K9 partner Trigg.
