Officer Will Deering

Officer Will Deering lost his brief battle with leukemia on 8/17/24. Officer Deering was a K9 Officer with Denison Police Department in Texas and had been a member of the force for more than 14 years. Will began employment with the Denison Police Department on January1, 2010.During his career, he served as a K9 officer for 6 years with his K9 partner Ivar. He also served in many other roles throughout his career, including: patrol officer, Narcotics Detective, Field Training Officer, Sergeant and as Training & Development Coordinator.Will is survived by his wife Vanessa; son Michael Daughter Kaylee; son Bryce and his K9 partner Ivar.
