Officer William Russel Lundquist

Lundquist, William “Bill” Russell of Bloomington, MN died peacefully from COVID pneumonia on January 28, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. His true calling and vocation began when he joined the Minneapolis Police Department in 1964. Bill worked 28 of his 35 years on the force in the K9 unit, with his loyal partners Sergeant, Louie, Rocky and Bart, earning National awards in dog training and changing so many lives along the way. He is survived and greatly missed by his loving wife of 60 years of marriage, Pat; his three children, daughter, Diane (Bob) Morse sons, Mark (Debbie) and Paul (Julie). In lieu of flowers, donations accepted for the Minneapolis Police Federation.

We have the expertise to assist any law enforcement agency in establishing a canine unit, canine policy, and canine unit procedures.
