Richard “Rick” James VanStone, 67, of Albany died 2/23/23, at the Willson Hospice House.He received full military honors. He retired from the U.S. Army, worked with the Albany Police Department and Customs and Border Protection. Mr. VanStone loved working with K-9’s everywhere he worked. He was a member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church and the American Legion Post 30. Survivors include his wife Catherine VanStone; a son Richard VanStone; and a daughter Christina Bivens.
