Sergeant Chris Vaughn

Sergeant Chris Vaughn of Cedar Bluff Police Department  died while on duty on 4/1/22 after suffering a medical issue while on duty on Highway 35. Sgt. Vaughn’s law enforcement career began in 2009, when he joined the Leesburg Police Department before moving to the Cedar Bluff PD in 2015 and achieving the rank of Sgt. He also served as a K-9 Officer. He is survived by his wife Ariel Henderson Vaughn, sons Brayden Michael Vaughn and Brady Thomas Vaughnn. Donations in honor/memory of Sgt. Vaughn can be made to the Chris Vaughn Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Alabama Teachers Credit Union in Centre.
